Women L.E.A.D. presents "The Power of Risk Taking for Women Leaders." The speadker is Ada resident, Amy Eddings, former New York City public radio host of NPR's "All Things Considered" now owner of the Easter House Bed and Breakfast in Ada.
The program is from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Stephen McCullough Conference Room.
Eddings recently traded a career in radio in New York City to be closer to family in rural Ohio. While she is experiencing life from a different angle, she has undertaken the challenge of changing careers midlife, taking news risks and embracing change.

Jerry W. Crisenbery, age 76, died on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at 2:19 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima, Ohio.
He was born on Jan.18, 1939, in Van Wert County, Ohio to Lowell B. and Marjorie (Fronefield) Crisenbery who preceded him in death. He married Cheryl Combs and she survives in Ada, Ohio.
Jerry was a retired electrician having worked for Carey Electric and Tradesman International. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Germany.
