ONU Wind Orchestra presents music from Great Britain Oct. 28
Ohio Northern University’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents an evening of music from Great Britain featuring the Ohio Northern University Wind Orchestra on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m.
The Northern Winds, under the direction of Thomas A. Hunt, will perform a concert of British music for winds and percussion, including Gustav Holst’s “First Suite,” Adam Gorb’s Yiddish Dances, Malcolm Arnold’s Four Scottish Dances, and four Percy Grainger favorites.
Tickets for this event are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for ONU faculty and staff, and $5 ONU students. The Freed Center box office is open Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Phone orders are accepted with American Express, MasterCard, VISA or Discover by calling 419-772-1900.
