JULY 15 MEDIA RELEASE__The boil water advisory for the 700 and 800 blocks of S. Johnson St. has been lifted.
Water samples have been tested, and the results confirm that no contamination was detected in the public water system. The water is safe to drink, cook with, brush your teeth, and use as normal.
Thank you to everyone for your patience and cooperation while we worked through the water main break and completed the required testing to ensure the safety of our water system.

JULY 14 MEDIA RELEASE__A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for Village of Ada water customers in the 700 and 800 blocks of S. Johnson St.
The Lima News has reported that the jury trial in Hardin County Common Pleas Court of Donna Jo Miller on charges connected to the death of her sister, Paula Dirmeyer, has been postponed until December 7, 2026.
An investigation initiated by the Ada Police Department led to Miller's arrest in April. The charges against Miller are murder, involuntary manslaughter, strangulation and felonious assault.
