MEDIA RELEASE__ While the next American Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for the Ada Visiting Nurses on September 21, there is an emergency blood and platelet shortage right now. David Humphreys, the program leader for the Ada Community Blood Drive, has shared that surgeries are being delayed because of this shortage.

If you can donate, you are encouraged to schedule an appointment at a nearby blood drive. Hardin Memorial Hospital will host a drive on August 5, and there are others that are fairly close.

FROM FACEBOOK__Ada Public Library's monthly Adult Book Group gathering has been pushed back a week to Tuesday, August 11 at 7:00  p.m. .

That means an extra week to finish it if you haven't already! There are still some copies available at the front desk if you'd like to join in or read the book.

FROM FACEBOOK__The Irish Iron Memorial remembering TJ Griffin will be held on October 3 at Liberty Conservation Club, 1552 ST RT 235, with a swap meet from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and ride leaving at noon.

All donations will go toward funeral expenses of those lost in motorcycle accidents.

MISSING OR INCORRECT INFORMATION
I've received AI-generated flyers with wrong dates and missing dates. My options are to not use the flyer, crop out the errors or to create a replacement design.

Limited to the first 15 participants to sign up and pay the $20 registration fee.
