Phyllis Hall was retired from ONU dietary service
Phyllis C. Hall, 85, died on Friday, July 29, 2016, at 5:55 a.m. at the Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Kenton.
She was born on May 24, 1931, in McGuffey, Ohio, to Charles Victor CV and Vera (Phillips) Stevenson who preceded her in death. On Dec. 30, 1952, she married Norman D. Hall and he preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 2012.
Phyllis retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital after working 20 years in Dietary Services. She also worked at Ohio Northern University Food Services for 11 years retiring in 2009. Phyllis was a graduate of Alger High School class of 1949. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of Alger and a member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge # 1533.
She is survived by her son, Steven Hall of Ada; two daughters: Monica (Jon) Thompson of Roundhead and Jenifer (Jerry) Badertscher of Ada; three grandchildren: Aaron (Lindsey) Thompson, Liane (Joe) Hefner and Andrew Badertscher; and five great grandchildren: Mason Thompson, Lauren Thompson, Griffin Thompson, Kiah Hefner and Zakery Hefner.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marlon Hall in 1981, two grandsons: Daniel Hall and Eric Thompson and a brother, Robert Stevenson.
Funeral services will begin at noon on Monday, Aug. 1, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Pastor Courtnie Morton officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. to noon at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Universal Home Health & Hospice of Kenton and/or charity of the donors choice.
