Ohio Northern University celebrates its alumni weekend May 31 to June 2. Here's the schedule of events.
The Class of 1969 will have a special celebration dinner on Friday, May 31, for their 50th Class Year Reunion. All other classes celebrating 55, 60, 65 and 70 years will also have celebrations at the reception before the Alumni Association Luncheon on Saturday, June 1.

Sidney Gossard, Ada HS student, showed her lambs recently at The Clover Classic in Coldwater, Michigan, and won both of her classes in both shows that day.
On Sunday she showed her lambs at Cassopolis, Michigan, at the Southwest Michigan Showdown where she was Reserve Champion overall and 5th overall.
"Noteworthy Community Choir is accepting registrations for its first-ever Summer Sounds Choral Camp for kids who love to sing," says Vicki Mills.
Here's how it works:
From July 15 to July 19, 1st through 8th graders participate in singing and movement experiences, weaving a high-quality choral music experience with fun musical activities and camp friendships.
And, 3rd to 8th graders will have recorder and Orff instrument classes, while 1st and 2nd grade campers have a morning full of songs and musical activities tailored toward their age group – with everyone gathering for a camp concert on Friday, July 19, at 12:30 p.m.

D. Miriam Rumsey died on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Miriam was born in Lafayette, Ohio, on Dec. 21, 1925, to Warren and Lelah (Stanyer) Knoble who are deceased. She married Roy Rumsey on June 21, 1946, and he died on June 1, 1985.
State Route 701 between state Route 309 and county Road 75 will close Monday, June 10, for approximately 45 days for the replacement of two bridges, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 309 and U.S. 68 back to state Route 709. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.
