The Ada Exempted Village Schools Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, May 29, at 5 p.m., in the Board Room of the Central Office.

The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the Ada Education Association negotiated tentative agreement, accept resignations, and to prepare for negotiations with the Ada Classified Association.

The North Central Ohio Waste Management District (NCOWM) office is now open to receive your household hazardous waste (HHW). The District's office, located on 215 Shawnee Road, Lima, offers household hazardous waste recycling to households only and electronic waste recycling to residents and businesses in Hardin and Allen Counties. By utilizing NCOWM district's services, you are keeping harmful items out of landfill. 

What is household hazardous waste?

Ada Public Library is prepping for their summer reading program - a Universe of Stories. The library is requesting donations of items to aid in summer reading projects. Items are listed below:

  • paper towel rolls
  • toilet paper rolls
  • 2 litre bottles
  • 20 oz. bottles
  • Gatorade bottles
  • empty yogurt cups
  • cardboard boxes
  • packing peanuts
  • bubble wrap
  • cookie cutters (any shape - metal or plastic)

The library thanks the community for their support.

The final Young Mom Support Class will be this Friday, May 31, hosted by the Alger Public Library. Each class is from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. in the library.
