Sarah H. (Hay) Bosse, age 91, went home to be with the Lord her Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 28, at 8:15a.m. at Vancrest of Ada.

She was born on December 8, 1925 in Wooster to Benton and Grace (Kaufman) Hay who preceded her in death. On September 23, 1951 Sarah married Eldon A. Bosse and he passed away on March 14, 2009. 

Sarah was a member of the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. She dedicated her entire life to Jesus Christ. She worked at Ohio Northern University in the Registrar’s Office.

She is survived by a son, Richard (Bobi) Bosse of Ada; two daughters: Elaine Pretzlaf of Marysville and Diane Bosse of Hillsboro, GA; five grandchildren: Kendre Bosse, Kristopher Bosse, Amber (Joe) Wolber, Nathaniel (Lisa) Pretzlaf and Nastasia Pretzlaf; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Culbertson of Wooster. 

Sarah’s homegoing will begin at 12:00p.m. on Saturday, February 11, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Aidan Finn officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Jenera. 

Friends may call two hours prior to the service, from 10:00a.m – 12:00p.m. on Saturday, February 11, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.

 In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and/or Right to Life of Ohio.
