Alger Public Library Feb events
Preschool Story Times will continue on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. with songs, games, crafts, and snacks.
Children in grades 1-5 are invited to be part of the after-school program, called "Tune-In Tuesdays," at 4 p.m. Please note the earlier time. Various events and activities are planned each week including crafts, games, special guests, and snacks.
On Thursdays students of all ages can receive homework help from 4:15-6 p.m. Parents need to sign up their child by 6 p.m. the day before.
Adult Coloring & Bring Your Own Craft are scheduled for Thursday, Feb 9, from 6-7:30 p.m.
The library will host a free Family Movie Night from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21. This month’s feature is a new animated DVD about well-known and brightly colored characters whose hair stands straight up on end.
New for adults this month will be a program called “Essential Oils 101." This event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and includes a sample project to take home and light refreshments. Teens age 15 and older may attend.
The library is open Monday through Thursday from 1-6 p.m.and Friday from 1-5 p.m. The phone is 419-757-7755.
