Gavin D. Reed 2008-2017
Gavin D. Reed, age 8 passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 8:20pm at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on October 3, 2008 in Lima, Ohio to Adam P. Reed and Lisa M. Alexander. Gavin’s father Adam and Melissa Cave survive in Harrod and his mother Lisa and Ryan House survive in Ada.
Gavin was a 2nd grader at Allen East Schools.
Also surviving are maternal grandparents: Jacob and Sheryl Alexander of Westminster; paternal grandparents: Doug and Patty Reed of Waynesfield; maternal great grandmother, Cretora Alexander of Columbus; Melissa’s son, Chase Nibert; aunts and uncles: Marc Reed, Katie Reed, Jamie (Chad) Bare and Mike (Kristine) Reed; and cousins: Andrew and Lauren Reed and Mason and Karlie Bare.
Gavin was preceded in death by his uncle Jonathan Alexander.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 14 at Waynesfield Baptist Church at 512 North Westminster Street, Waynesfield, Ohio 45896 with Pastor Uncle Don Smith officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 2:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, February 13 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Allen East Youth Sports Alliance.
