The Ada High School Band will conclude its 2017-18 season with a concert Monday, May 21 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.
The band's performance selections include the soundtrack from Disney’s “The Incredibles,” “Into the Raging River” by Steven Reineke, the soundtrack from “Jurassic World,” “Liberty Fleet March” by Karl King, “Good Night” by Chris Bernotas, “The Lost Temple” by Jared Barnes, and “Alien Marching Machine” by John Prescott.

Village employees Eli Sexton and Cheryl Geer install 28 hanging baskets of vining petunias on light poles along Main Street on Wednesday.
By fall, the baskets will be dripping with color with varieties named fuchsia, bubblegum and silverberry.
The show will extend from the United Methodist Church south to College Avenue.
ONU put up hanging baskets in front of Dukes and Lehr buildings last week in time for last Sunday’s commencements. Anyone wanting to donate more baskets for Ada next year may call Village Administrator Jamie Hall for details.

Season pool passes will be sold at the Ada Pool from 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday next week. Buying an Early Bird pool pass early can save you $10.
Here’s the cost this year:
$4 for a daily pass
$50 season pass, if purchased by June 10
$60 season pass, if purchased after June 10
$10 deducted, if an Ada taxpayer
No family passes.
The Inn at Ohio Northern University will hold a law commencement brunch from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 20. Two reservation times are available: 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

FINDLAY - The Ada track and field teams competed on day one of the Div. III district meet Thursday at Findlay High School.
The Bulldog boys are seventh of 15 teams after one day with 10 points. The Lady Bulldogs are 12th. Liberty-Benton is first in both the male and female team standings.
Ada senior Logan Williams took sixth in the long jump finals, while junior Noah Mattson came in seventh in the discus finals.
The Bulldog boys 4 x 800 relay quartet finished fourth in the finals to make it to the regionals.
The top four finishers in an event qualify to the Tiffin regionals May 23/25.
