Bulldog boys blank Panthers

ADA - The Ada boys soccer team shut out visiting Paulding 6-0 Saturday
afternoon in a Northwest Conference match.
Ada improved to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in the NWC with their third straight
victory. The Panthers dropped to 0-10 overall and 0-3 in the NWC with the
defeat.
Logan Williams netted three goals and passed out one assist to pace the
Bulldog attack. Miguel Jordan, Brendan Sheridan and Brayan Casiano each
added one goal.
Nate Allen dished out a pair of assists. Senior keeper Ace Gamble made two
saves in goal as Ada out-shot the Panthers, 16-3.
The Bulldogs (3-2 home) host local rival Allen East (3-6-1, 2-0-1 NWC)
Tuesday, Oct. 10.
Ada girl kickers win 3rd in row

ADA - The Ada girls soccer team crushed visiting Paulding 7-1 Saturdayto
post their third consecutive Northwest Conference victory at home in five
days.
The lopsided win lifted the Lady Bulldog record to 5-9 overall and 4-2 in
NWC play. Ada beat Lincolnview 4-3 and edged Delphos Jefferson 3-2 earlier
in the week.
Paulding dropped to 1-11 and 1-5 in the NWC with the loss.
Ada out-shot the Panthers, 43-10. Bella East netted three goals and Katie
Butterfield tallied two scores to pace the onslaught.
Caitlyn Stover and Hailey Callahan added the other Bulldog goals. East
also added an assist to her hat trick.
McKenzie Long made eight saves in goal for Ada while Ella Poling added two
stops.
"We took an early lead and controlled the ball on our half of the field
the majority of the game," explained Bulldog head coach Doug Poling.
Ada visits Liberty-Benton Wednesday, October 11 at 5 p.m.
