May 1923 the first advertisement for the Public Service Filling Station, located on East Buckeye Street, appeared in the newspaper. Earl S. Wolfrom was the local manager.
May 1923 the first sectional elimination track meet of northwestern Ohio high schools was held here. Twelve schools were represented.
June 1923 the Ada Playground Association was formed. Mrs. Harry Rosser was elected permanent chairman of the association and she appointed Mrs. W.D. Bish, George Stambaugh and Harry Sousley to the committee on the swimming pool movement. This committee is to report on a location for the pool at the next meeting.
