Institute for Civics and Public Policy investigattes opioid crisis in Ohio

You may have heard of an astrophysicist, nuclear physicist or theoretical physicist. Scientists like Einstein, Schrödinger and Newton revolutionized our understanding of the universe. But have you ever heard of a medical physicist? It is likely that you haven’t since there are only approximately 13,000 medical physicists in the United States. You may ask yourself, what role could someone who studies the physics of subatomic particles and planetary motions play in the medical field?

Daniel J. “Danny” Klingler, age 27, of Avon Lake, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. 

He was born on October 30, 1995 in Lima, Ohio to Todd and Melissa (Wolber) Klingler, they survive in Ada.

The Ada High School boys soccer team lost to visiting Van Buren 4-2 in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match on a hot Wednesday night, October 4, at War Memorial Stadium.

The game was also Bulldog Senior Night and the “Pink Out” cancer cure match for Ada.

“Huge thanks out to everyone that came out to support us and donating to one of our soccer family mom’s fight against cancer,” said Ada head coach Jason Okuly.
