ONU women's golf wins OAC Championships title

WEST LAFAYETTE __ Ohio Northern held off a strong charge from Otterbein to grab the 2024 Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golf Tournament title with a record-breaking performance Friday-Sunday.

Annual AHS track and field invitational draws 17 schools

ADA __ Ada High School hosted its annual track and field invitational on Saturday, May 4 at War Memorial Stadium.

Seventeen schools competed in the event.

Bluffton swept both the boys and girls team titles at the meet. Van Wert came in second in the boys and girls team standings.

The Ada boys finished a strong third, while the Bulldog girls tied for tenth with Cory-Rawson.

Senior Jackson Brown won the 110 high hurdles and took second in the 100-meter dash to pace the Bulldogs.

Sophomore Jordyn Smith took second in the girls 400-meter race.

Ada gone green

Ada's West Lincoln Ave. is now a lush green leading drivers from Main Street to the campus of Ohio Northern University. The university has been recognizes as a Tree Campus USA since 2009.

CONVOY __ The visiting Ada High School baseball team rallied from a huge deficit only to lose in the last at bat 11-10 at league power Crestview in the completion of a suspended Northwest Conference game Saturday, May 4.
