FROM FACEBOOK__A Community Meal featuring walking tacos, cookies and water has been scheduled for the Village of McGuffey on April 2.

The event will run from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Courtright Commons (back entrance of the community building). Eat-in or take-out.

From the organizers: "Building a better tomorrow, together! And doing so by supporting our community one step at a time!"

FROM FACEBOOK__Ada Schools inter-district open enrollment is now open for 2026–27. Families wishing to apply must complete the application online through FinalForms by May 8, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Palm Sunday Worship Service - March 29 at 10 a.m.
Good Friday Worship Service - Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m.
Easter Sunrise Worship Service - Sunday, April 5 at 7:30 a.m.
Easter Breakfast - Sunday, April 5 from 8-9 a.m.
Easter Resurrection Worship Service - Sunday, April 5 at 10 a.m.

Village of Ada Legal Counsel Jane Napier introduced the topic of data center developments at the Tuesday, March 17, regular meeting. She noted that some communities are issuing moratoriums on new data center projects to allow time for the local government to research their potential impact.

Village Administrator Amanda Sears noted that developers seek affordable land and municipal water capacity. She commented that in terms of water and sewer capacity, Ada could likely handle another manufacturer but not a data center.

FROM FACEBOOK__Congratulations to AHS Senior Ayla Tabler! We are proud to share that Ayla’s painting has been selected for this year’s Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition! This is a highly competitive honor, with only four pieces from our Northwest Ohio region chosen for the show. The 56th annual exhibition, presented by the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, will be open for viewing April 12-May 14 at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus. This juried exhibition showcases the incredible creativity and talent of outstanding high school artists from across Ohio.
