3 Brothers Pizza under new ownership in January
By Monty Siekerman
Rod and Linda Dysert have sold 3 Brothers Pizza, 105 S. Main, to Brian and Kelly Clum and will open Wednesday, Jan. 2, under the new name 3 Brothers Family Pizza. The Dyserts will continue to own and keep open the business until the new owners take over the first of the year.
By coincidence, the Dyserts have three sons, hence the name, and the Clums have three sons, so there is very little change in the business name.
Brian said he plans to operate the business in much the same way as the Dyserts have for the past 11 years. The phone number will remain 419-634-0100. The hours will continue to be 4-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m.-midnight Friday, 11 a.m.-midnight Saturday, and noon-8 p.m. Sunday.
The restaurant will continue offering pizza, sandwiches, subs, salads, breads, appetizers, Stromboli, pasta dinners, baskets, desserts, and 12 flavors of Hershey’s hand-dipped ice cream.
Pizza comes with a choice of several crusts: hand-tossed, cauliflower, whole wheat, and gluten-free.
Brian retired from the military service and has 12 years of restaurant experience with Arby’s and MCL. Kelly is an RN with St. Rita’s. They are the parents of Phillip, Ada; Matthew, Van Wert; and Jared, Cairo.
The outgoing owners, Rod, who does home inspections, and Linda, an Ada Schools librarian, raised their sons while owning 3 Brothers. Each of their children worked at the restaurant, but are now adults and on their own. Cody lives in Columbus while Travis and Austin live in Ada.
