It's high school commencement time
It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default.
That quote by popular author J.K. Rowling is the motto of the 2019 Ada High School graduating class.
Ada High School’s 136th annual commencement is Sunday.
The Ada HS class of 2019 will receive diplomas in a program at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, in the high school gymnasium.
Noah Mattson, class president, will offer a moment of reflection, to start the program.
The valedictorians and salutatorian will be introduced by Meri Skilliter, school superintendent. She will also introduce this year’s graduation speaker, Dave Lusk, chemistry and physics teacher.
Attached to this story is a copy of the commencement program. It lists all class members, honor students, National Honor Society members, students with graduating honors, Apollo Career graduates, class officers and faculty members.
