This week Office Penny of the Ada Police Department worked with 15 Girls Scouts who are starting work on a fire safety badge. In addition to teaching the girls about the best defences against a fire, she provided them with smoke detectors to use at home or to share with others who need one.

McCOMB–The visiting Ada High School softball team out-slugged McComb 14-8 in a non-league contest Tuesday evening, April 4, forging a season opening hot streak.

With the win, the Bulldogs are 4-0. The Panthers fell to 0-4 with the loss.

McCOMB – The Ada High School varsity baseball team lost a non-league battle to McComb 8-0 Tuesday evening, April 4.

Ada dropped to 2-1 with the defeat, while the Panthers improved to 2-2 after the win.
