52 ONU student-athletes named Academic All-OAC

An impressive 52 Ohio Northern student/athletes were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in the ten spring sports for 2020.
The ONU women's track and field team had a program record-high of 12 selections and women's lacrosse tied his program-best total with five Academic All-OAC selections.
Men's track and field had 10 honorees, men's lacrosse and baseball had seven each, softball had five, men's golf had three, men's tennis had two and women's golf had one.
The award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point-average of at least 3.50.
Five of the 52 honorees had perfect 4.0 GPAs and 15 award winners were making their third appearances on the list, which is the maximum number allowed by the league.
Twenty-one of the 52 have earned the honor for the first time.
In all, the OAC honored 432 student/athletes from its 10 league member schools.
