Neither rain, sleet, hail or a virus keeps the Viva Maria's staff from keeping customers content. The popular Ada restaurant continues to offer lunch and dinner specials. Customers may order, take out or have their meals delivered within a 7-mile radius of Ada. Pick up your phone, dial 567-940-8482 and go from there.

Spring is here and New Leaf Landscape and Garden Center, 0395 State Route 235, north of Ada is open.

Curbside service is available for customers practicing social distancing.

• An employee will bring your order to your car

New Leaf has seed potatoes, onion sets and vegetable seeds on hand for spring garden starters.

New Leaf hours:
Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tuesday and Sunday closed

Several Ada High School student athletes were named Northwest Conference scholastic athletes this week.

The qualify, the student must be a letter-winner in the sport. A gold level athlete maintains a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0 during the season. A silver level athlete maintains a grade point average of 3.0 to 3.49 during the season.
