Boy Scout Jadon Holbrook of Troop 124 welcomed cyclists at the Ada rest area--and rain shelter--on the July 16 Bluffton Ride to Remember. Riders you saw in town covered the 37-mile Ada Loop on an exceptionally wet day.

ODOT District 1 has issued the following Traffic Impact and Project Updates for the Week of July 18, 2022:

Napoleon and Thayer Roads are expected to reopen the week of Aug. 15.

  • Detour: I-75 to SR 81 to SR 235 back to SR 309 (see map).
  • Thayer Road between State Route 117 and Reservoir Road is closed.
  • Napoleon Road between Reservoir Road and Clum Road is closed.

State Route 696 between the village of Beaverdam and the Putnam County line will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.

A new dance studio, Studio 419, has announced classes for practically all ages and skill levels beginning August 29, 2022.

Classes include ballet, combo tap/ballet, hip-hop, modern, pointe and tap.

The classes are held at 301 N Main St., the First United Methodist Church.

Most classes are $30 per month and there is aregistration fee of $40 per student.

I have read and reviewed more of Chris Bohjalian's books than any other author. Midwives, The Flight Attendant, The Plot, The Night Strangers, The Guest Room, and Hour of the Witch, just to name a few. Why? Because he's an excellent writer.
