ADA – The Ada High School baseball team battled but lost 5-0 to visiting non-conference foe Fort Jennings on Wednesday evening, May 7.

Ada had multiple runners on base in several innings but could not get the timely hit needed to break through with players in scoring position.

FJ busted open a scoreless game with three runs in the top of the fourth frame and held on for the win.

“The kids played a great game,” said Ada head coach Toby Smith. “We hit the ball hard, it just didn’t drop in for us. We just need to keep doing the things we are doing, and those hits will come.”

On Thursday evenings at the Ada Public Library, you can enjoy both the weekly musical Jam Session from 5 -7:00 p.m. and the Knit & Crochet gathering beginning at 6:00 p.m. Bring an instrument to join in the music or your current yarn-based project. All can relax and enjoy the tunes!
