The Ohio Northern men's cross country team fell eight spots to No. 26 in the eighth weekly United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll, released on Wednesday.
The Polar Bears (113-19 overall) received 58 points in the poll. Northern has now been ranked in seven of the nine national polls, including the preseason poll.
The Polar Bears will compete in this weekend's Div. III National Championships after placing third at the Great Lakes Regional meet and earning an at large bid to the Championships.

Amburgey Construction has broken ground for the Ada Dog Park on East Lehr Ave.
Golden retriever Abby gives "paws up" as she watches the digging for the water line to the 100'x300' area that is on the far north side of War Memorial Park. Fundraising this year has been successful for the $33,000 project, but more money needs to be raised to fully reach the goal.
Checks payable to Ada Dog Park Association may be mailed to 301 S. Johnson St. Ada, Ohio, 45810. There are 1,400 dogs with licenses in the 45810 ZIP code, and probably a few without licenses.
