Dave and Kim Smittle's 1947 MG TC was picked for the Lions choice award at this past weekend's antique car show in Bluffton.
The Bluffton Lions Club hosts the annual show. The Lions choice award is determined by a vote of Lion members who volunteer at the car show. Nearly 200 vehicles were entered this year.
Smittles entered their 1947 and their 1953 MGs in the show (see photo below). The best of show was another British vehicle, a 1955 bright red Sunbeam Alpine. The vehicle is owned by John Rundfuss of Bucyrus.

Summer is the perfect time to check out the new library renovation (if you haven’t already) and check out some books. Check the Ada Icon frequently to see who is reading what and grab some ideas for your next reading adventure.
The house is at West Lincoln and Gilbert streets in Ada. Did you wonder what was happening when you first saw yellow police tape around the house? Upon closer examination, the sign on the porch identifies the house as an ONU Department of Biological and Allied Health Sciences forensic crime scene house and training facility.
