Ohio Northern University announced on its Facebook that it intends to return to a full on-campus experience in the fall.
The announcement stated that the decision was made by relying on public health guidance and working with state and local officials to pursue learning, living, and working on campus as close to, if not at, pre-pandemic levels.
Continuing: “The university is committed to providing students with an optimal educational environment and looks forward to returning to a traditional semester calendar as well as continuing in-person learning, on-campus living and campus events and activities.
Brody Hahn - Josh Bever receive OAC honors
Ohio Northern senior Brody Hahn (Louisville), sophomore Josh Bever (Ashland) and freshman Peyton Wilson (Lima/Shawnee) all received weekly honors for their efforts in a 47-6 football victory at Capital on Friday night.
Hahn and Wilson were named the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Bever was named to the D3football.com national Team of the Week at defensive end.

April is here, the weather is warming and Ada is slowing opening up.
The month’s Hometown Happenings is evidence of the community’s year-long waiting to turn the page.
Among highlights include performances of the spring Ada High School musical, a livestream of ONU’s steel drum and percussion in concert, several additional ONU livestream musical performances and a PaintINN at the Inn at ONU.
The April West Ohio Food Bank's Hardin County food distribution takes place from 1 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, at the Dial-Roberson Stadium's front lot on the ONU campus, according to Jason Aldrich.
It is a no touch, drive-through distribution.
Enter on Klingler Road. To received food persons must be 18 or older, have a valid photo ID and proof of residency, be at or below 230 percent of the federal poverty guidelines and sign and eligibility to take food home form.
During an earlier food distribution in Ada, 100 families, most from Hardin County, were served. The West Ohio Food Bank distributed 38,356 pounds of food during the afternoon.
