Lions Club members loaded truck after truck of mulch Saturday morning for those who stopped by with their own trucks and trailers and for delivery to those who ordered mulch by phone.
The Lions, who usually end their sale around Memorial Day, will continue selling it in June since many May Saturdays were rainy.

ABATE stands for American Bikers Aid Toward Education. One of their projects is distributing yard signs and decals for vehicles reminding people to look out for motorcycles. The organization is a motorcycle advocacy group.
GENEVA — For the second time in 2017, junior Emily Richards (Delaware/Hayes) claimed two titles at the same NCAA Div. III Championship meet to lead the Ohio Northern women's outdoor track and field team at the 2017 NCAA Div. III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
As a team, the Polar Bears finished tied for eighth in the team standings with 26 points and posted the best finish in school history at the outdoor championships.
Richards opened the day for the women's team as she claimed the 1,500-meter run title in a stadium-record time of 4:23.87.
GENEVA — Senior Kase Schalois (Van Wert) and junior Matt Molinaro (Sterling Heights, Mich./DeLaSalle) each posted top-3 finishes in their respective events to earn All-American honors on the final day of the 2017 NCAA Div. III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
As a team, Northern set a school-record with 12 total team points at the championships.
The Polar Bears finished tied for 23rd in the team standings with 12 points.
Molinaro owned the fastest time heading into the finals for the 800-meter run and was edged at the finish line before finishing third in 1:51.39.
