June 10 Press Release__On June 7th, 2025 at approximately 11:39 p.m. an Ada Officer on patrol attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle he observed to be traveling at a high rate of speed in the 600 block of West North Avenue.

The vehicle failed to stop continuing westbound. The vehicle turned South onto County Road 25. At State Route 309 the Ada Officer lost sight of the vehicle, but it was located by an assisting Deputy from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

Ohio Department of Vehicles(BMV) Final Notice: Enforcement Penalties Begin on June 11.

Our records show that as of today, you still have an outstanding traffic ticket. In accordance with ohio State State Administrative Code 15C-16.003, if you do not complete payment by June 10, 2025, we will take the following actions:

1. Report to the BMV violation database

The Village of Ada 2025 Paving Program will begin on Tuesday, June 10 including milling and repaving the following:

  • E. Highland, Liberty to Simon
  • N Johnson, Montford to RR tracks
  • S Johnson, RR tracks to Lincoln
  • S Johnson, mid-block High to Lima
  • E High, S Main to Simon
  • S Simon,  High to Lima
  • Depot Parking Lot

Parking will be limited in these areas while the project is ongoing. Please follow the no parking signage that will be placed. The project is expected to last through Wednesday, June 11 depending on weather. 

JUNE 7 ANNOUNCEMENT FROM FACEBOOK The Hardin County Pullers annual Ada War Memorial Spring Pull is Saturday, June 14. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. at Ada War Memorial Park (event entrance on E. Lima Ave./Spar Rd.)

Gates open at 3:00 p.m.  with registration starting at 4:30 p.m.

Admission is $10 with kids 8 and under free with paid adult. Seniors and veterans admission is free. There will be food vendors on site, bleacher seating, and plenty of room for lawn chairs.
