School's out for the summer. How can you tell? Here's a student and a pre-schooler who appear to be very happy about the situation. Ada's final day of the 2020-21 school year was today.
Ada loves parades, and one planned tonight (Thursday, May 27) that begins at 6 p.m. at the Ada park could top them all.
It's a parade honoring the 2021 Ada High School graduates. Here's the parade route - pay attention:
(Short version: Park to Lima Ave., north on Main to SR 81, left to Simon, south to Lima, back to Main all the way north to SR 81 again, right to Johnson, all the way south to Lima, turn on to Simon and return to the park.)
Detailed parade route:
• Start at the Ada park and turn left onto Simon
• From Simon turn left on Lima Avenue to Orders Avenue

There was a good turnout for a free Ada tennis clinic Saturday despite the unseasonable heat at the park. The Ada Tennis Association sponsored the event while the Bulldog varsity players and coaches taught. Free balls and racquets were given out.

ADA - It's official: willful Ada senior Miranda Wills is set to attend Ohio Northern University and play tennis for her father's program.
She continues a family tradition of playing tennis at ONU, following in the forehand footsteps of her father and older sister.
Miranda signed with ONU Tuesday morning at the high school varsity gym. Her father Scott Wills has been the head women's coach at ONU for two decades, posting a 389-104 record while winning all nine league regular season titles in program history.
Miranda enjoyed a fine senior campaign playing number one singles for the Bulldog boys team.
