Bridge Hospice, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System, will host its annual “Light Up a Life” tree-lighting ceremonies in Bowling Green and Findlay in December. 

Through a tree-lighting and candle-lighting ceremony, loves ones who have passed will be honored. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Bowling Green ceremony is Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 5:30 p.m. in the Georgian Room at Heritage Corner, located at 1069 Klotz Road, Bowling Green.

The Findlay ceremony is Thursday, Dec. 5, at 5:30 p.m. in The Chapel at Birchaven Village,15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay.

St. Paul’s UCC presents a children’s Christmas musical "It All Happened In The Country" on Sunday, Dec. 15 at the church, 4443 Township Rd. 25 (St. Paul's Rd.), Ada.

Daniel and Chelsea, two city slickers, get stranded in the country and find out there is more to Christmas than the hustle and bustle of presents and decorations. With the help of Cora May, cousin Luther, Uncle Yule and Granny, they learn the story of Christ's birth and how it all happened in the country...the countryside of Bethlehem.

The event is north of Ada, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7140 Tom Fett Road, Bluffton.

Two sessions remain on 2019 regular meeting schedule
