Dear Students, Families, Staff and the Ada Community,
I hope this letter finds you all well and filled with excitement for the 2024-25 school year. As the newly appointed Superintendent of Ada Exempted Village Schools, it is my honor and privilege to welcome you back for what promises to be an incredible year of learning, growth, and achievement.
LIMA __ The Ada High School varsity golf team competed in the second, in-season Blanchard Valley Conference tournament on August 19 at Hidden Creek Golf Course in Lima.

In its season opener, the Ada High School girls varsity soccer team enjoyed a big second half and beat visiting Tiffin Columbian 3-2 on August 17.
Ada trailed 1-0 at halftime after an own goal, but netted two goals in the first seven minutes of the second half to take the lead.
The Bulldog girls extended the lead to 3-1 on an impressive corner kick goal by Alex Gibson with 7:49 remaining.
The Tornadoes answered with a goal just 13 seconds later to cut the deficit to 3-2. But the Ada defense staved Tiffin off the rest of the way to hang on for the victory.
The Ada High School varsity boys soccer team opened its fall 2024 campaign with an 11-0 shellacking of visiting Tiffin Columbian on Saturday, August 17 at War Memorial Stadium.
The Bulldogs raced to a 7-0 lead at the half and cruised to the lopsided victory in the coaching debut of new Bulldog mentor Aaron Acheson.
“Overall, I am very happy with the result,” said coach Acheson. “I loved the team spirit and the unity. We moved the ball around and were very unselfish.
“It was a nice start to the season,” he added.
Ada sophomore Andrew Allen tallied a career-high four goals to lead the barrage.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine joined Ohio Department of Commerce Director Sherry Maxfield and State Fire Marshal Kevin Reardon on Aug. 16 to announce a Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign to raise awareness for Ohio's need for volunteer firefighters.
The Ada Public LIbrary has announced, "We had prizes coming out of our book stacks this year thanks to the generous contributions of the following people, local businesses and organizations. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! The kids were so excited this year and we had our kids (and adults), reading all summer long!!!"
