Here's an interesting posed photo from the 1968 Ada High School yearbook. It shows several band members. Two Icon viewers who are members of the AHS class of 1968 provided IDs.
• From left, kneeling, Richard Roth; sitting on drum, Mary Hubbell.
• Back from left, Carol Baughman, Director/teacher Max Ansley, Debbie Wirt, Joyce Stobbe, Carol Bischoff, Linda English and Sharon Rodabaugh.
052887 - The Icon first thought this was a a zip code, but upon further study, we believe the owner of this plate was born on May 28, 2987. We welcome clarification from any Icon view with more information. We spotted this plate on a blue Honda CR-V in Ada. (The monthly renewal sticker confirmed our birthday theory.)
Meet Belle. Belle is 6 year old female shepherd mix. She weighs 54 pounds. Can you give Belle a forever home?
To give a dog a forever home, contact the Hardin County dog shelter. It is located at 49 Jones Road on the west side of Kenton.
Hours: 9 am to 4 pm on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Phone: 419-674-2209.
Generally, about 20 to 25 dogs are available for viewing.
The shelter is also the place to contact for giving up a dog, if you find a lost or stray dog, or if you come in contact with a vicious dog. It costs $20 to surrender a dog, which pays for deworming and immunizations for when it is rescued.
