Crisp autumn air and sunny skies greeted cryptid enthusiasts at the third annual Ohio Bigfoot Jamboree at Ada’s War Memorial Park on October 3. (A cryptid is a being whose existence is known through folklore and individual accounts, but has yet to be confirmed by physical or scientific proof.)
Coordinated by Jay Wolber and Justin England—hosts of the Cryptids of the Corn podcast and veterans of the Bigfoot event circuit—the Ohio Bigfoot Jamboree brought together vendors, guest speakers and fans from across the region and beyond.

Judith E. “Judy” Tarr Austin, age 75, of Ada, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Vancrest of Ada.
She was born on December 4, 1950, in Lima, Ohio, to Charles Jones and Jean (Davis) Gilbert. Her father, Charles, mother, Jean and stepfather, James Gilbert, all preceded her in death.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. (closed Saturday and Sunday). The event is free and open to the public.
Work Right! exhibit is comprised of 100 posters from international artists and designers serving as a launchpad for thoughtful debate on workers’ rights. A jury of renowned graphic designers selected the top 100 from more than 4,300 entries. Posters cover a variety of workers’ rights topics from child labor to gender discrimination to human trafficking.
