Ada Invitational Quiz Bowl tournament scheduled for Monday, Feb. 5, has been rescheduled due to the wether. The bowl is rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 12.

The Ohio Northern University observatory will hold two public viewing evenings in Feburary. Those event follow:
• Friday, Feb 9, 7-9 pm. – Public Event. "The International Space Station passes high" 

• Friday, Feb 16, 8-10 pm. -- Public Event. "Starbirth: the Orion Nebula"

"The Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics (OCTM) was organized and had its first-ever conference in the spring of 1951 - hence "51." Duane joined in the 1960s.  That photo is on the OCTM website.

WAPAKONETA - The Ada girls basketball team received a first round bye and was seeded 10th out of 11 teams at the Allen East/Coldwater super sectional drawings held Sunday at Wapakoneta.

 

The Lady Bulldog cagers (4-14) will face second-seeded Fort Recovery (15-3) Saturday, February 24 at 8 p.m. at Allen East.

 

Ada and the Lady Indians both got first round byes for the five-team half of the sectional at AE.

 

The Ada/FR winner advances to the Wapakoneta district.

 

Taxpayers in Hardin and surrounding counties can find free income tax assistance from Ohio Northern business students through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).

 

The VITA program offers free tax help to persons who generally make $54,000 or less who need assistance in preparing their tax returns. 

 

ONU students will offer free electronic filing (e-filing) services at the business college on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdayevenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Feb. 13 through April 5 (excluding March 6-8).Appointments are required.
