Final Grandview public meeting September 27

The Village of Ada has announced a public meeting for the Grandview Boulevard Reconstruction Project at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27.

The event will be held at the Community Health Professionals Building, 1200 S. Main Street.

$2.1M project funding breakdown:

OPWC Grant $500K
OPWC Loan $750K
Assessment $200K
Village Share $705K

Advertising for bids is scheduled to begin on September 22; construction is anticipated to begin April-May 2023; and construction is expected to be completed in October 2023.

ANNOUNCEMENT
You are invited to join us for a public meeting #3, to discuss the Grandview Boulevard Reconstruction Proposed Project. This will be the third and last public meeting held for this project before the start of construction.

This meeting will be held to present the final project construction plans and to provide the project milestone dates such as: project bid dates, project start and finish dates.

At this meeting we will also present the individual property owner's assessment information as well as information on the needed work agreement for work on your property which could involve your driveway, sanitary sewer, storm sewer or waterline.

This invitation letter also includes an attached memo to Council dated September 6 that has the most current information on:

A. final construction plans and current cost

B. project funding and property assessments

C. project schedule

D. required legislation by Council

As with the previous public meetings we will ask for comments and answer questions about the project.
