FROM FACEBOOK__Johnny Appleseed Park District is teaming up with the Ada Public Library to take kids on an adventure. On Friday, October 23 all homeschoolers are invited to explore nature at the library with the park district.
Naturalist Haley Williams will be on site to guide the program. Homeschooling Adventures begins at 11:00 a.m. and is open to the public.
MT BLANCHARD__The visiting Ada High School football team rode a big third quarter to blow out Blanchard Valley Conference foe Riverdale 42-7 on a wet and chilly Friday, Oct. 16.
The Bulldogs jumped ahead 14-0 and put the game away with two touchdown passes from Blake Zoladz to Aidin Brown in the third stanza.
Ada rushed for a season-best 365 yards to pave the way to victory. Quarterback Zoladz accounted for 369 total yards and five touchdowns.
The Bulldogs improved to 6-3 overall and 4-3 in BVC play with the decisive road victory. The struggling Falcons fell to 1-8 overall and 0-7 in the BVC after the lopsided home loss.

Pink Out Night fundraiser and regular season finale

ADA__The Ada High School boys soccer team defeated visiting Lincolnview 5-0 in a record-setting regular season finale under the lights on Thursday, Oct. 15.
Ada senior Andrew Allen set the program record for career goals at 81 by netting four scores in the victory. He broke the record previously held by Andrew Fetter.
The Bulldogs improved to 9-7-1 overall with the home non-league shutout.
The Lancers dropped to 2-12-1 after the road loss.

FROM FACEBOOK__Ada's VFW is hosting a Christmas party for children that attend Ada Schools.
The party will be held on December 5 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and will be for children from the ages of 0 to 12 years old. Santa and Mrs Claus will be on hand for photo-ops, gifts and treats.
Register by sending a Facebook message to Sara Westbrook Radke listing your children's names and ages. Parents are required to stay at the event.
