Light appointed to Quest credit committee
KENTON–Mark Light of Ada, Ohio has been appointed by the Quest Federal Credit Union Board of Directors to replace John “Pete” Gunn on its credit committee. Light has been a member of the Supervisory Committee since 2017. The organization notes that he has been “a tremendous asset to Quest and its member-owners by providing thorough reviews of our audits and examinations.”
Sarah Wirbel, Board President, notes, “Mark expressed interest in learning more about Quest and our operations and he became a natural fit for this position. Mark is a critical thinker and will learn quickly and become a very productive member of the Credit Committee in a short time frame.”
Mark is employed by the Ohio State University as the Leader for Ohio 4-H STEM. He is an active member of the Ada First United Methodist Church and enjoys traveling with his wife Kim. Mark and Kim have two adult children, Justin and Megan.
John “Pete” Gunn of Kenton, Ohio recently retired as a Credit Committee Member of Quest Federal Credit Union. Pete began his tenure on the credit committee in 1981. The organization notes, “Gunn helped the credit union navigate difficult times and provided a historical perspective that has served the credit union well as we have grown to 15,500 member owners and $192 million in assets with 6 branch locations in Hardin, Logan and Wyandot counties.”
