2024 Hardin County Fair booklet available

The 2024 Hardin County Fair Book has been finalized! It is available at the link below. In a Facebook announcement, organizers note "it has been submitted to the printer, however print books will have limited copies. Only rules and the open-class section will be available in print.

Celebrate greatness with Ada High School

Ada High School is celebrating the 50th anniversary its 1974 Ohio Class A Champion relay teams in both the 880 yards and 1 mile events.

Ada will “Kick Off Summer” with June 1-2 celebration

In addition to the PPK USA sanctioned Punt, Pass, & Kick competition at Ohio Northern University on Sunday, June 2, local businesses will be turning the entire weekend a "Kick Off Summer" celebration.

Ada Area Chamber of Commerce is prmoting a weekend "filled with many fun activities for kids on Saturday and Sunday. We are encouraging our downtown businesses to have free kids activities available Saturday. We will be making a list of all events going on in town this weekend."

Last week the Village of Ada Tree Commission sent third graders home with three-year-old river birch seedlings. The bagged, slime covered infant trees will grow fairly rapidly and have the potential to become 40+ foot trees with papery bark and yellow fall color.
