What is in a pattern? Is there a science behind patterns? The shell of a snail is a great example of how nature contains patterns that can be explained by math. The pattern found in a snail's shell can be explained by a phenomenon known as Fibonacci numbers. In addition, our brains naturally attempt to combine information to form patterns to make decisions quickly. With repeated exposure to information, our brain tries to simplify decisions by forming patterns.
Do you know of a young singer or dancer between the ages of 5 and 12 who would love the opportunity to perform on stage? Ohio Northern University will hold children’s auditions this summer for its "Holiday Spectacular" extravaganza and for the role of Chip, an enchanted teacup, in "Beauty and the Beast."

A special mix and mingle event will be held by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.
On Wednesday, July 21st, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. the mixer will take place at The Cask Room, 127 N. Main Street. Cheese and crackers will be provided with a cash bar.
Ada’s Community Improvement Corp. (CIC) will hold an in-person meeting at noon, Wednesday, July 21, according to Eileen Peterman, secretary. The meeting takes place at the Ada Historical Depot.
The agenda includes the treasurer's report and committee reports. Committees designated within the CIC include industrial, commercial, water resource plan, community, and executive board.
Remaining meetings for 2021 are scheduled for October 20 and December 15.
