Joren Kirsis improves his game through ONU esports

From the ONU website – When Ohio Northern University launched its esports program last fall, no one was quite sure what to expect.

Students at Ohio Northern University Child Development Center recently played a learning activity called music fence. According to June Zimmerman, director, it explores musical concepts and expressions.

Ohio Northern senior running back Christiaan Williams (Sidney/Anna) was named Second Team Preseason All-America for 2020 by D3football.com.

Williams is ONU's all-time leading rusher with 4,193 rushing yards in his 29-game career.

He was named a 2nd Team All-American by the Associated Press and the American Football Coaches Association as a sophomore in 2017, was an Honorable Mention All-American by D3football.com in 2019 and is a 3-time 1st Team All-OAC honoree.

He became the first ONU freshman to rush for 1,000 yards, gaining 1,208 in nine games in 2016.
