COLUMBUS — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team rallied for a 5-4 victory over Wittenberg on Sunday at the OAC Tennis Fest at the Lindner Family Tennis Courts.
The Polar Bears clinch a winning season and improve to 12-7 overall and the Tigers fall to 1-10.
Ohio Northern also celebrated Senior Day and honored its lone senior, Cody Hurley(Centerville), in a post-match ceremony.
LIMA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team wrapped up play at the OAC Tennis Fest with an 8-1 non-conference victory over Wittenberg on Sunday morning at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
The Polar Bears improve to 18-4 overall, while the Tigers fall to 5-8.
Northern won two of the three doubles matches to lead 2-1, then swept the singles contests to register the 8-1 victory.
Senior Lynn Kelly (Mason) and sophomore Mackenzie Wills (Ada) rallied from a 7-3 deficit to win the final six games and post a 9-7 win at the No. 2 doubles spot.
DOLA - The Ada boys and girls track teams competed in the annual, 11-team Hardin Northern Invitational Saturday in Dola.
The Ada boys finished in a fourth-place tie while the Lady Bulldogs came in seventh. Tiffin Calvert took the boys team crown and Leipsic captured the girls title.
Ada sophomore Nora Dellifield won the girls pole vault to lead the Lady Bulldogs, clearing 9-6.
Junior Miguel Jordan took second in the 800 meter run to post the top Bulldog boys finish. The boys 3200 relay quartet also finished second.

An ONU multicultural fair provided fun, flags and flavors for the 300 people who attended the event in King-Horn on Friday night.
There was music, dancing, a cacophony of sounds plus flags from the many nations represented in the student body as well as foods made with recipes from around the world.
Students from 25 nation’s are represented in the student body this year.
