The congregations of St. Mark Lutheran and Sugar Grove United Methodist are working together to provide a free community meal – Last Wednesday Community Meal – from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 24.
The meal is for carryout only and pickups are available at St. Mark, 125 Johnson St., Ada. Social distancing and safety protocol will be observed. The meal will be served out of St. Mark Lutheran located at 125 S. Johnson St. Ada.
The menu includes brats, baked beans, potato salad, fruit and a cookie.

Beatitudes (formerly known as Restore) announced that Rob Kanzig resigned from his post as executive director effective June 15, according to Jennifer Grant, Beatitudes board chair.
In his statement, Mr. Kanzig stated: “I am appreciative of the experience, and do wish the best for the center.”
During his years of service he oversaw many programs benefiting the Ada community, such as Picnic in the Park, which provides lunches for children during the summer; the Kid’s Christmas shopping event; and the Beacon Fund, which provides financial assistance to individuals to help them meet their social and financial needs.
Fifteen students from Ada, Alger and Allen East communities received their Associate’s degrees from Rhodes State College following spring semester 2020. The list is below:
