On Monday, December 18, Sheila Coressel (D-Ada) submitted her petitions to be the Democratic nominee for the 83rd State House District. A Village of Ada council member, Coressel moved here in 2016 to serve as the Director of Pharmacy Student Affairs at Ohio Northern University.
Mary Ruth Wagner, 91, of Ada, passed away December 18, 2023 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. Mary was born March 24, 1932 in Delphos to the late Forest and Martha (Kunz) Gudakunst. On May 18, 1952 she married Carl Wagner who survives.
Ellen L. “Sis” Samples, age 86, of Alger and formerly of Charleston, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on September 12, 1937, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Basil and Evelyn “Eva” (Pickering) Shaffer. On June 1, 1962 Ellen married James Samples who preceded her in death on January 1, 1968.
The Ohio Northern University Dance Company program alumni and past faculty will present a showcase of new and reconstructed dance works celebrating the 30-year legacy of the dance minor and its major impact in our campus community.
