The Ohio Newsroom's Kendall Crawford visited the Ada Public Library and Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library in Kenton for a May 12 report Ohio rural libraries struggle to plan, amid federal and state funding uncertainty.

This past week, I visited Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. to speak with our congressional delegates and attend the American Hospital Association annual meeting. Throughout the week, several congressional representatives spoke from both sides of the aisle on healthcare through deep, rich, and strongly opinionated conversations. In the end, more discussions are needed and, as with any good resolution, both parties need to listen and find balance. 

The Ohio Northern University men's basketball team is hosting two camps for boys ages 8-14. 

A day camp will be held June 9-12 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Cost is $160.

A shooting camp will be held on June 13 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Cost is $50.

Participants need to bring a lunch.

If you need to cancel, $80 of the registration fee is non-refundable.

Join the Hardin County Master Gardener Volunteers for their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. Come early--they usually sell out. Located at the Hardin County Friendship Gardens, 960 W. Kohler St, Kenton.
