Village crews work around the clock through major snowfalls to keep the Village streets as safe and passable as possible. Please keep the following tips in mind:

- Crews do not wait for a snow emergency to be declared to begin clearing roads. If you are able to park your vehicles off the street, please do so. Once the public lots at the Depot and the corner of West Buckeye Avenue and North Gilbert Street are plowed, please consider using those lots.

Gus Guthrie says he has some candles that he'd like to give away.

All you need to do to have one is to stop in to Ada Flea Market, make a purchase and walk out with a free candle.

The flea market at 111 N. Main St., is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday.

You can check out the candles at the front counter - and by all means, tell Gus you saw this offer on the Ada Icon.
