LE BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU EST ARRIVĒ A LA GRAINE DE MOUTARDE!
(The New Beaujolais has arrived at The Mustard Seed!)

Starting Nov. 20, the 3rd Thursday of November, corks will be popping all over the world (and at The Mustard Seed) as the season’s new French wine is unveiled.

Beaujolais is a young red wine (only 6 weeks old) and some grand traditions have developed in honor of its release each year. In Lyon they mark the day with music and fireworks followed by two days of sampling. What a great excuse to celebrate life, wine and the grand French tradition!

The Ada Icon caught up with Dean Alstaetter - of course, at the keyboard - during the Town and Gown dinner earlier this month.

Marathon Petroleum donated $1,000 to Ohio Northern University’s Mu Delta Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi on Thursday, Nov. 6. Ryan Abraham, president of the Beta Alpha Psi ONU chapter, and Andria Beehler-Evans, vice president, accepted the generous donation.

Abraham, who expressed his gratitude on behalf of the chapter, said “These funds will truly benefit our chapter, allowing us to make various purchases that we otherwise would not be able to make. Our chapter will use the donated funds to offer our members opportunities to network with financial and business leaders as well as provide our chapter with resources to effectively operate on a daily basis.”
