Welcome to the 2nd print issue of AdaIcon.com, which is being distributed to our local libraries and a limited number of locations for in-house use. Highlights are a small slice of what appears online. In September 2025, we published 126 news items on AdaIcon.com!

Print copies will be delivered to the Ada Municipal Building, Ada Public Library, Beatitudes, Heterick Memorial Library and Vancrest of Ada on or about October 2.

It's always a joyful moment when a new baby is born. Everyone in the family wants to come meet the new addition. A few days later, this precious little baby is struggling to breathe and needs to be in the intensive care unit (ICU) with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) bronchiolitis.

RSV is a virus generally present in the winter, usually at its worst in January and February each year. We are starting to see cases of RSV in our community.

The Ada High School Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 4, 2025 included members of the Homecoming Court perched on red, white and blue convertibles. At the evening's football game--where Ada defeated Riverdale 51-10--Seniors Anna Conley and Justin Bowden were crowned the Homecoming Queen and King. The court was comprised of Freshmen Ambriel Hollon and Reid Preston, Sophomores Aliyah Kober and Elijah Craig, Juniors Gabriella Fleming and TJ Griffith and Seniors Marley Bulerin and Justin Bowden, Anna Conley and Kayleb Hickman, Jordyn Smith and Zack Zimmerman.

Hickman tallies two pick 6 returns

ADA__The Ada High School football team pulled away with a 30-0 second half to pound winless visiting Riverdale 51-10 in a Blanchard Valley Conference game on Homecoming night Friday, October 3 at War Memorial Stadium.

The Bulldogs led 21-10 at halftime, then took control with a 21-0 third period to win going away.
