As part of the summer reading program, Ada Public Library hosts "Read and Relax" every Friday from 1-4 p.m. This is open to all ages. 

Ada Public Library hosts Sensory Science this Friday, June 28, at 11 a.m. for ages 18 months to 5 years old. This program meets regularly to introduce simple, yet fun science concepts to kids and their caregivers.

This is part of the summer reading program. Attend the event and receive a ticket to win weekly prizes.

An alphabetical reference guide to a university located in Ada, Ohio

Here's a clever way to provide a quick reference guide to Ohio Northern University. Not every university in the U.S. could pull this off. The Icon saw it on the ONU website.

Here's a view of construction underway at the ONU engineering building this summer. For a view of the Ada skyline all the construction worker needs to do is turn around and gaze north, east or west. He's high above the treetops, as the next photo reveals.

One person died in a two-vehicle accident at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, on South Main Street (SR 31), Mt. Victory, according to the Hardin County Sheriff's office.

The sheriff's report follows:
At 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, the sheriff received a 911 call reporting a two vehicle crash on South Main, State Route 31, Mt. Victory.

Upon arrival, deputies found a south-bound commercial vehicle had collided with a north-bound passenger vehicle.

The driver of the commercial truck, Maurice Hale of Detroit, was not injured. The driver of the passenger car, Annie Li Yang of Lansing, Michigan, was deceased at the scene.

Teens are invited to play board games together at Ada Public Library this Thursday, June 27, at 3 p.m. This activity is specifically geared towards sixth through twelfth graders, and will introduce modern board games, such as King of Tokyo, Sushi Go and Star Wars version of Risk (among others), to teens.

Attendees will receive a ticket to win prizes.
