Ada High School’s 136th annual commencement is Sunday.
The Ada HS class of 2019 will receive diplomas in a program at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, in the high school gymnasium.
Noah Mattson, class president, will offer a moment of reflection, to start the program.

The Ohio Northern women ended fourth while the Polar Bear men finished fifth in their respective 2018-19 Ohio Athletic Conference All-Sports Trophy races, the league office announced Monday night.
In the women's race, the Polar Bears compiled 68.25 points for the fourth-place finish, just 0.5 points outside the top-three programs.
Otterbein claimed the institution's first OAC All-Sports Trophy with 78.25 points behind conference titles in cross country, soccer, indoor track and field, and softball. Meanwhile, Mount Union ended a close second with 76.25 points, and Baldwin Wallace took home third with 68.75 points.

For as long as most can remember, the OB milkshake is part of the entire birthing experience at the hospital.
And, no one is certain when it started. Jane Agner, with 43 years in the department, and Elaine Sommers with 44 years in OB, say that the tradition was in place prior to their joining the hospital staff.
Here’s how the milkshake experience works and what make it so interesting:
Women who deliver babies at Bluffton Hospital – there could be up to 200 each year – cannot have any food during labor.
Girls between 4th and 8th grade are invited to OSU Extension: Hardin’s Girl’s Group summer activities.
Girl’s Group brings together public school and homeschooled girls to work on strengthening friendships and developing overall confidence, positive self-image and self-esteem, and leadership skills through a variety of hands-on education and activities.
The group meets on selected Fridays at the Spark Lab in the Hardin County Extension Office unless noted in the schedule. The first meeting is Friday, May 31, in Lima for a fun night from 4-10 p.m.
