While the major building project at ONU this year is its engineering building, another construction project is underway, in the shadow the the larger structure – seen in the rear of this photo. The smaller building, in the forefront, will house the Office of Information Technology staff. It will relocate the English Language Programs to the space vacated by the technological studies department.

The Ohio Northern baseball team opened its 2019 season with a 10-1 win over Illinois College on Sunday afternoon at Osceola Heritage Park Field 2 as part of the Russ Matt Tournament.
The Polar Bears (1-0) scored three runs in the third and four more in the fourth to take a 7-1 lead and cruised to the win.
The Blueboys fall to 0-1.
Sophomore Michael Rocco (Orlando, Fla./Zionsville) went 3-for-4 with a RBI and two runs scored to lead a 13-hit ONU offensive performance.

Three Ada players received All-Northwest Conference boys' basketball honors from league coaches in voting conducted at their annual selection meeting in Delphos Monday night.
Bulldog senior post Connor Frazier was named honorable mention all-conference for the second straight season. The 6-6 Frazier led the team in rebounds and blocked shots, and was second in total points.
Ada leading scorer Phillip Coulson, a junior wing, was also voted honorable mention all-league.
Bulldog senior guard Cade Mullins was the third Ada player to be named honorable mention All-NWC.
Jack C. Brown, Jr., 55, died on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 12:38 p.m. at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, Beachwood, Ohio.
He was born on July 10, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jack C. and Edna Kay (Rhodes) Brown, Sr. and they survive in Madisonville, Tenn. On July 12, 1985 Jack married Tami Kindle and she survives in Ada.
Jack worked as a truck driver for the Risinger Trucking Co. He was a 1981 graduate of Kenton High School.
